JOB TITLE: IPM Technician

AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION: 

  • Reports directly to the Cultivation Manager

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Daily monitoring of plants in grow rooms for potential pest risk
  • Scoping plants and identifying any problem areas
  • Application of beneficial insects to plants
  • Conduct all foliar feeding and preventive spraying
  • Assessing plant response and overall effectiveness of IPM procedures
  • Cleaning fertigation lines and tanks
  • Work with Cultivation Management on spray scheduling
  • Mix pesticides and preventive solutions appropriately
  • Monitor and track efficacy of product applications
  • Maintain all application logs
  • Assist Cultivation team when required
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Cannabis knowledge preferred
  • Deep understanding of beneficial insects and spray application processes
  • Must be Detail-oriented
  • Have genuine and positive energy
  • Posses a great work ethic; be reliable and professional
  • Must exhibit excellent listening skills
 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
  • Must pass all required background checks.
  • Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends.
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  •  Frequently moves up to 30+ pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance).
  • This job function may include being in a stationary position, or moving for extended periods of time
